QUEENS: Truck Crash Severely Injures Woman Crossing Street at Kissena Boulevard and Holly Avenue in Flushing

WOMAN IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER BEING HIT BY TOW TRUCK

QUEENS, NEW YORK (March 12, 2017) – A woman was critically injured after an 81-year-old tow truck driver hit the woman as she was crossing the street.

The woman that was injured in the pedestrian accident was also 81-years-old.

Emergency medical workers rushed to the scene of the accident and transported the woman involved to a local area hospital.

The driver of the tow truck was arrested following the collision and cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian.

Authorities are working to identify the woman that was involved in the crash. She is currently listed in stable condition.
