QUEENS: Tow Truck Crash Critically Injures Woman Crossing Road at Kissena Boulevard and Holly Avenue in Flushing

WOMAN IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER BEING HIT BY TOW TRUCK

QUEENS, NEW YORK (March 12, 2017) – A tow truck driver was taken into police custody after he hit a woman that was crossing the road by Kissena Boulevard and Holly Avenue in Flushing, according to NBC NEWS.

Police are saying that the woman was hit by the tow truck and pinned. Paramedics quickly responded to 911 calls and transported the woman to a hospital.

She was treated for a head injury and was listed in critical condition following the accident.

There is no word yet if the driver of the tow truck will face criminal prosecution.

A number of recent pedestrian accidents in the city. Pedestrian accidents occur for a number of reasons.

Drivers may not see pedestrian and road defects may also contribute to the problem. The accident took place at Kissena Boulevard and Holly Avenue in Flushing.
