QUEENS: Tow Truck Accident Leaves 81-Year-Old Pedestrian Critically Injuerd at Kissena Boulevard and Holly Avenue in Flushing

WOMAN IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER BEING HIT BY TOW TRUCK

QUEENS, NEW YORK (March 12, 2017) – Police are investigating a crash involving a tow truck and a pedestrian that nearly killed an 81-year-old woman, according to NBC News.

The driver involved in the crash is also 81-years-old. Police arrested the man and charged him with failing to yield to a pedestrian and failure to exercise due care.

Paramedics rushed to the scene of the accident in order to help the woman that was hit. She was transported to a local area hospital and is currently being treated for a head injury.

It is a miracle that the pedestrian involved in the crash was able to survive. A recent string of pedestrian accidents in the city have left some wondering if more could be done to prevent them.

The RMFW Law Firm extends its deepest sympathies to the woman involved in this accident. This is nothing short of a tragedy. We hope that she makes a full recovery and the steps are taken to prevent this type of accident from happening again.
