LISTERIA OUTBREAK LEAVES ONE PERSON DEAD

MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (March 12, 2017) – A listeria outbreak has left several people injured and is causing nationwide recalls of various cheese products, according to NBC News.

There is no word on how man stores may have been affected. One person from Connecticut has been killed as a result of the bacteria which was linked back to a NY Creamery.

Authorities have identified a creamery in NY as being the likely cause of the outbreak. In particular, Ouleout cheese has been recalled from stores across the country.

Young adults and the elderly are the most likely to die from the illness if they become sick.

Anyone that is experiencing symptoms of the illness is encouraged to seek medical attention.
