COPIAGUE: Woman Hospitalized After Car Accident on Dixon Avenue

WOMAN IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER BEING EJECTED FROM VEHICLE FOLLOWING CAR ACCIDENT

COPIAGUE, NEW YORK (March 12, 2017) – A woman has been critically injured after she was involved in a car accident on Dixon Avenue, according to Patch.

The woman driving a 2002 Toyota was making a left turn when her vehicle was hit by the driver of a Honda.

The woman in the Toyota had to be airlifted to a local area hospital in critical condition. It remains unclear if the police are going to try to pursue any criminal charges.

It is possible that there may have been something wrong with the lights in the area. Car accidents can often occur because of road design defects or light failures.

This is something that police will have to look into as they conduct their investigation.
