TIMES SQUARE: High Rise Restaurant Fire Breaks Out At Crossroads of the World

APARTMENT FIRE LEAVES SEVERAL INJURED AT CROSSROADS OF THE WORLD

NEW YORK, NEW YORK (February 27, 2017) – A fire broke out in a restaurant on 48th street that left the building severely damaged and several people injured, according to NBC News.

The source of the fire is still under investigation. Fires can be caused for a number of reasons. Malfunctioning electrical circuits and cooking related incidents are two common causes of fires.

Smoke from the incident billowed into the street. Emergency officials told people that they should avoid going outside in order to protect themselves from the smoke.

Police are saying that the fire started around 5:00 am. The fire started at the TSQ Brasserie, which is restaurant at the ground floor.
