BROOKLYN: School Girl Suffers Head Trauma After Being Hit In Bus Crash in Crown Heights

GIRL IN CRITICAL CONDITION AFTER BEING RUN OVER BY SCHOOL BUS

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (Febraury 24, 2017) – An 11-year-old girl suffered a serious head injured after being run over by a school bus in Brooklyn, according to NBC news.

It remains unclear if the girl had gotten off the bus. However, police are saying that there were children in the school bus at the time of the accident.

The identity of the girl remains unknown. Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported her to a hospital where she was treated for head injuries.

As of Wednesday night, no charges had been filed in connection with the accident.

One witness says the accident occurred as the bus driver was making a turn. The side of the girls backpack may have been hit and knocked her over.

Authorities will continue to investigate the accident in order to determine liability.
